My journey as a reader started as a simple cure for boredom that turned into a lifelong obsession. For me, reading is a doorway; whether it's a high-fantasy novel, a fast-paced manga, or even a gripping manhwa/manhua, I read to lose myself in other worlds and live a thousand lives alongside the characters I meet.
I don't believe a book has to be a global bestseller to be "great," though I certainly enjoy many of them. My shelf is a mix of popular novel reviews and those underrated book reviews I've written after stumbling onto a story with zero expectations. I value resonance over ratings; if a story makes me smile or offers a true escape, it has a permanent place on my shelf, regardless of its popularity.
