As I mentioned on my Reviews page, the fact that this is unfinished shouldn\u2019t keep you away; the journey itself is one of the most solid, unapologetic experiences I\u2019ve had in fiction. It doesn&#8217;t ask for your permission to be dark; it just invites you into a world that is as cold as it is captivating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\">The Deep Dive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">What kept me staying for this story, chapter after chapter, was the sheer scale of Gu Zhen Ren\u2019s vision. The world-building is massive, and it doesn\u2019t just feel big for the sake of being big\u2014it feels lived-in and dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>A Unique Power System:<\/strong> Unlike typical fantasy tropes, the power system here is refreshingly unique. Every new discovery feels satisfying and logical within the world\u2019s internal rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>The Unfiltered Protagonist:<\/strong> Fang Yuan is a character that forces you to rethink how stories are told. You aren\u2019t just reading a hero\u2019s journey; you\u2019re watching a masterclass in strategic, cold-blooded progression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\">The Eternal Marination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Usually, my &#8220;Marination Strategy&#8221; is a choice\u2014I step away to let chapters pile up for a better experience later. With <em>Reverend Insanity<\/em>, the marination is permanent due to its hiatus. It leaves you in a state of emotional suspension, having traveled through this deep, complex world only to meet a sudden silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">However, the sheer depth of what <em>is<\/em> there makes it feel more complete than most finished series.
